Brand-new and airy rooms with private bathrooms. Bonus point for an electric kettle, climate control, and a personal safe. Location near to restaurants and the Domaine de Fompeyre. Private parking on site provided...

The double room had comfortable beds, a balcony, and a kettle. the views of the garden were lovely. the hotel provided friendly service. the location was great, in a secluded setting, and just a short walk to Bazas center.

Good food if a rather lengthy experience but lovely to dine "al fresco"

The spa area is very old. There is no Sauna. The complete hotel needs to be renewed. In the room the WIFI is very low.

The rooms are spotless and airy, offering central heating, pay television, and a writing table. the location is marvelous with on-site parking. the very friendly and excellent personnel ensure guests have a very special stay.

We only stayed one night but really enjoyed the hotel and its surroundings. Its only a short walk from the hotel into the lovely sleepy town of Bazas. The hotel itself while being perfectly modern and comfortable has a lot of character and an interesting old feel.

The hotel has a very impressive exterior and it is not until you get closer that you spot the tiredness of the paint work and the general lack of maintenance. We had booked this hotel specifically, because it had a large car park and we were able to park our car and caravan (previously arranged with the hotel) on our way back from the South. Our room did not have a balcony and so we changed to one with. The views from the shuttered window were across the garden and very pleasant. We did not have time to explore the vast grounds, pool and spa. It is very handy for the town of Bazas which is a pleasant 15 minute walk. Breakfast was a very good buffet. Fast speed Wifi in the room. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

The room we changed to was very tatty with holes in the worktop to the en-suite. However, we had changed from the original offered which was less tatty. I assume they let the better ones first. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

This property is in a nice and absolutely perfect location, close to the restaurant for dinner or lunch the following day. It's close to historic Bazas and the Domaine de Fompeyre. It's only 2 km from St Paul's Church.

Nothing really wrong with this hotel other than it badly needs updating. I believe however, that this is on the cards quite soon.

Views of the cathedral, outside pool, and general atmosphere were very nice.

Hotel is slightly run down, but don;t let this put you off.
